Curry-Spiced Veggie Burgers | Everyday Food with Sarah Carey

Now, I'm no nutritionist, but I think it's clear that going meatless every once in a while can be good for your health. I'm also not an accountant, but I definitely know meatless meals can be good for you budget! So, whether you're full-on embracing vegetarianism, or just aiming for a veg meal every once in a while, we have a week's worth of delicious recipes coming at you this week. Sarah's Tip of the Day: Up first: A healthy, flavorful, easy take on homemade veggie burgers! The secret for these guys is in the sauce -- a yogurt, curry powder, and lime juice sauce to be exact. It does double-duty as a burger ingredient and a condiment. The other ingredients you'll need to make the burgers are chickpeas, scallions, cooked rice, shredded carrot, breadcrumbs, cilantro, and olive oil.   1. This is a good recipe since I was once a vegetarian but I still can't resist meat so what I did is to eat meat sometimes and then mostly foods that are salads like this one. My main problem back then is a possible zinc deficiency since vegetarians like me a prone to this kind of nutritional deficiency. I overcame them and I think it is worthy.
